Photo 2:
Composition: texture is seen in this photo as the sweater is knit and looks fluffy Composition: in the foreground is the sweater and in the background is the floor of the School Technical: for this photo I used aperture to focus on the part of the sweater farthest from me so that the part of the sweater that was in front of the lens was blurry Technical: I also adjusted the saturation so that the burnt orange tone was more prevalent. Why: I chose this photo because it reminded me of a nice fall day with the orange color and knit blanket like material. |
Photo 1:
Composition: The hose creates lines all throughout the photo. Composition: texture is seen on the hose itself the yellow has a gridded pattern and texture while the green is smoother and lined. Technical: the contrast between the hose and the rocks was heightened so that the hose stood out more Technical: I also used the saturation toggle to brighten the green in the hose. Why: I chose this photo because it kept my eye moving through the different values of green and the loops in the hose. Photo 3
Composition: this photo is composed of positive and negative space the dice were the positive space and the black background was the negative space Composition: having the point of view directly in front of the dice allowed me to capture the splashes of the dice along with the sinking in the water themselves. Technical: for this photo I had a fast shutter speed in order to capture the dice sinking without it being blurry. Technical: I adjusted the levels of this photo to even greaten the contrast between the black and white of the dice and background Why: I liked this photo because I thought the slight reflection of the dice on the top of the water looked interesting. |
